Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule preventive maintenance tasks.
- Repair and maintain facilities equipment including hand tools, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC units.
- Supervise or assist with projects involving maintenance painting or building interior upgrades while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs efficiently and provide excellent customer service to internal clients or tenants.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO).
- Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting using schematics and electrical testing tools like ohmmeters.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair and building interior maintenance.
- Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as plumbing fixture troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively; welding skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of facilities equipment maintenance including carpentry, painting (residential or commercial), and general repairs.
- Experience supervising or leading small teams; strong leadership skills are desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration.
- Experience working within manufacturing or residential environments is beneficial.
