Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently, ensuring proper load sizes and settings for different fabric types.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and work surfaces.
- Inspect items for stains or damages and report any issues to management.
- Handle dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring items are treated correctly based on fabric care instructions.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and uniforms to various departments.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Skills
- Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and fabric care requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
