Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to ensure freshness and availability
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing carpets or hard floors to keep them spotless and well-maintained
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disposing of waste and disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces
- Provide friendly customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or assistance
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair and report maintenance issues promptly
- Utilize janitorial equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for cleaning chemicals and tools
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; hotel or custodial experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, sanitation procedures, and laundry operations
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow safety guidelines related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
