Duties
- Set up breakfast buffet stations with fresh food items, beverages, and condiments, ensuring everything is appealing and well-stocked throughout service.
- Prepare food items as needed, including basic cooking, food handling, and meal preparation to meet guest demand.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold health standards.
- Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu offerings, and provide friendly guest services to enhance their experience.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for any paid breakfast options or special requests.
- Support catering or banquet functions related to breakfast service when required.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and dietary restrictions to ensure safe handling and presentation of food.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, meat cutting, and basic cooking methods.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cleaning protocols, food safety standards, and dietary accommodations.
