Hotel Breakfast Attendant

In this part-time role, you’ll be responsible for setting up and maintaining our breakfast area, ensuring that all guests receive excellent service on time. Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and Maintenance: Prepare the breakfast area by setting up tables, arranging food items, and ensuring that the area is clean and organized. Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
• Guest Service: Greet guests warmly and assist them with any questions or requests. Provide information about breakfast offerings and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper food handling, sanitation, and cleaning practices.
• Fast-Paced Environment: Efficiently manage high guest volume during peak breakfast hours while maintaining quality service and a positive attitude.
• Clean-Up: Clear tables, clean spills, and maintain overall cleanliness in the breakfast area. Dispose of waste properly and assist with any necessary deep cleaning tasks.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure seamless service and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or in customer service is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and a keen attention to detail. Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require bending and reaching.
• Availability: Flexible schedule with the ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
