Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of hospitality that our establishment is known for. The Front Desk Agent will manage reservations, assist guests with inquiries, and facilitate a smooth check-in and check-out process. Shift is 3p-11p part time for 2-3 shifts during the week.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with necessary information about the hotel and its amenities.
- Manage front desk operations including checking guests in and out efficiently.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through phone systems and computer software.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, room availability, and billing details.
- Assist with night audit duties as required to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold hotel policies regarding safety, security, and privacy.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Proficiency in phone systems and front desk operations.
- Experience in hospitality management is a plus.
- or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette to communicate effectively with guests over the phone.
- Familiarity with guest services protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Previous OPERA experience is a plus!
