We are searching for a resourceful Guest Service Agent to join our team at Holiday Inn Express and Suites. Our hotel Guest services will act as one of the faces of the hotel and must exhibit exceptional verbal communication skills. Along with greeting guests and informing them of room rates and other details, duties include managing reservations, performing check-in and check-out tasks, and corresponding with the cleaning staff. Successful candidates will have strong multitasking skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced, people-facing role.
Objectives of this role
- Act as a face of the hotel while greeting guests in a polite and professional manner
- Supervise daily tasks for all front desk operations
- Respond to guest questions and concerns
- Assist guests in a professional and timely manner
- Promote a positive and polite work environment
- Offer five-star customer service to all guests
Responsibilities
- Follow check-in and check-out procedures for hotel guests
- Answer phone calls and book reservations
- Make plans for guests as requested
- Upsell hotel packages when appropriate
- Communicate with other hotel staff members to ensure smooth operations
- Track and update general supply inventory
