What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites?
This \early-bird\ position starts at 5:00AM on weekdays and 6:00AM on weekends.
Responsibilities of the Breakfast Attendant
- Interacting with guests and answering any questions they may have
- Cleaning and upkeep of breakfast area during breakfast hours
- Preparing food and keeping breakfast area stocked during breakfast hours
- Restocking and preparing for the following morning
- Cleaning breakfast area before leaving
- Assisting with the monitoring of breakfast inventory
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous work experience in the hotel industry is preferred but not required.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Reliability
- Weekend availability
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
This job requires the ability to do the following:
- Frequently standing up and moving about the facility.
- Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility.
- Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling.
- Able to work alone as well as being a team member.
