What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites?
Holiday Inn Express & Suites is seeking a warm, cheerful individual with a guest-centered attitude for a Housekeeping position within our hotel. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, greeting and conversing with guests, cleaning guest rooms and public spaces with an extreme attention to detail.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Provides professional and courteous service at all times.
2. Clean guest rooms
3. Dusts, vacuums and overall maintains all public areas, hallways, rest areas and other spaces assigned.
4. Collects soiled linens for laundering and received and stores linen supplies in appropriate locations.
5. Refurnishes areas with supplies as required.
6. Removes and disposes of trash.
7. Completes projects as determined by executive housekeeper.
8. Communicate all pertinent information to Managers and Supervisors.
9. Follow set procedures.
10. Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Hotel policies.
To do this kind of work, you must be able to:
Use hands to lift, carry or pull objects that may be heavy. Perform routine work or the same task over and over again.
Physical Demands: Lifting 25 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, seeing, feeling.
Required education: High school or equivalent
