Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Set up breakfast stations, including food displays, utensils, and condiments, to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen stations, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing.
- Assist with food handling, storage, and replenishment to uphold food safety standards.
- Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent guest relations.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately.
- Support catering or banquet functions by setting up buffet tables or assisting with meal service as needed.
- Buss tables promptly after guests finish their meals to maintain a tidy environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal preparation and delivery during busy hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.
Experience
Candidates should bring a strong foundation in food service or hospitality roles, ideally with experience in breakfast service or restaurant environments. Prior experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred. Skills in food preparation, cooking, knife handling, meat cutting, and meal presentation are highly valued. Experience working in catering, banquet settings, or hotel food service enhances your candidacy. Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, guest relations expertise, and a passion for hospitality are essential. Familiarity with food safety protocols and dietary accommodations will support your success in this role. Previous roles such as host/hostess or barista experience can provide a strong foundation for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
