Job Summary
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall comfort of guest rooms and public areas. This role plays a key part in delivering a positive guest experience by ensuring all hotel spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming according to brand and property standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
- Replenish guest room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to management promptly
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and use approved chemicals safely
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, and other assigned public areas
- Handle guest requests politely and professionally
- Follow hotel policies, safety guidelines, and brand standards
- Protect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Properly store and care for cleaning equipment and supplies
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions and hotel standards consistently
- Reliable and punctual
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–30 pounds
- Ability to push carts and operate cleaning equipment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
