Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the housekeeping team, providing clear guidance and support to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols aligned with industry best practices for commercial cleaning and sanitation management.
• Oversee all cleaning activities, including guest room maintenance, public area sanitation, laundry services, and industrial cleaning tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and sanitation standards to promote a safe environment for staff and guests.
• ***Clean rooms when short staffed to help out***
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and enforce quality standards.
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, safety procedures, and customer service excellence.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to optimize operational efficiency.

Skills

• Extensive experience in custodial work, hotel housekeeping management, or related janitorial roles with a focus on hospitality environments.
• Proven staff supervision skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in high-pressure settings.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures including industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry operations.
• Excellent managerial communication skills to motivate staff, coordinate tasks, and resolve issues promptly.
• Deep understanding of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards.
• Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to address guest needs professionally and courteously.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 50.0 per week
