Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness standards
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure quality control
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and maintenance
- Address guest requests or complaints promptly to uphold guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning efforts around events or special occasions
- Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality housekeeping management
- Strong knowledge of floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial practices
- Experience with hotel or hospitality industry standards is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to train staff effectively in cleaning techniques and safety procedures
