Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast buffet area before guests arrive
- Ensure that all food items are properly displayed and replenished as needed
- Greet guests and assist them with any questions or special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area throughout the shift
- Clear tables and clean up after guests have finished their meal
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper sanitation procedures
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guest
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus
- Basic knowledge of POS systems for processing payments
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and ability to prepare various coffee beverages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in banquet or catering services is beneficial
- Dietary aide experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
