Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including food stations, tables, and utensils
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and food warmers
- Assist with food handling and portioning, ensuring accurate weight handling and proper food storage practices
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing excellent customer service
- Support catering or banquet setups as needed, ensuring timely delivery of breakfast services for events or groups
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures is essential
- Experience with fine dining or catering enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service
- Strong manual handling skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment are required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor in in-person interactions
- Ability to handle weight in the workplace safely and efficiently during food prep and setup tasks
- Barista experience or culinary background is a plus; dietary aide or banquet experience is advantageous
