Position: Sales Coordinator
Location: Holiday Inn Express - Auburn
Position Details: We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to oversee and coordinate sales activities for two of our properties: Holiday Inn Express Auburn and Holiday Inn Express Merrimack. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the sales operations at both properties, focusing on increasing business opportunities and optimizing revenue streams. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills to manage customer relationships, facilitate group and corporate bookings. The ideal candidate will work from the Holiday Inn Express Auburn while remotely managing responsibilities for the Holiday Inn Express Merrimack.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 consecutive years in an administrative, sales or banquet position in a Limited-service Hotel or comparable experience applicable to hotel guestroom and event sales.
- Proficiency in working with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Experience with platforms such as Opera, OnQ, or similar systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of hotel sales processes, including group and corporate bookings, revenue optimization, and customer relationship management.
- Familiarity with sales reporting and ability to analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
- An associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks across two properties.
- Proven ability to work independently and remotely manage responsibilities for multiple locations.
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business, technical procedures, company journals and government regulations.
- Ability to write reports and procedural manuals. Effectively deliver all required information to managers and coworkers
Computer Skills
- Typing skills and Windows XP or newer, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Working Knowledge and use of Salesforce (Delphi.FDC) recommended

Physical Demands
The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
