Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk area. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and have experience in managing office environments. This role is crucial for ensuring that our reception area runs smoothly, providing exceptional service to our clients and visitors while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This is NOT a 9-5 job, candidate will be working weekend evening shifts , fill in for call offs and work shift assigned shifts during the week.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and handling inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Manage continental breakfast department for staffing and quality control.
- Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality customer service.
- Maintain an organized office environment by overseeing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining records.
- Implement office management procedures to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism in all communications.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective communication and coordination of services.
- Handle any issues or complaints that arise at the front desk promptly and effectively. Cover any shifts needed due to call off including night audit, morning or afternoon and/or breakfast shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, dental receptionist, or in a similar front desk role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in office management software and typing skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail for proofreading tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong interpersonal skills.
