Job Summary:
As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks, addressing guest requests, and responding to emergencies in a timely and efficient manner. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry).
- Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks promptly and accurately.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Ensure all equipment and systems are functioning properly and safely.
- Respond to maintenance-related guest requests with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance work area.
- Assist with snow removal, landscaping, or pool maintenance as needed (if applicable).
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel, apartment, or building maintenance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
