Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and private residences, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, buffing, waxing, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed rigorously to promote a safe and hygienic environment
- Conduct detailed cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas using appropriate cleaning agents
- Manage custodial tasks including trash removal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly desirable
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is a strong plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and polishing enhances your suitability for the role
- Familiarity with laundry operations and sanitation standards ensures thoroughness in all tasks
- Previous management experience in housekeeping can be beneficial for supervisory responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
