Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary testing on patients, including taking medical history and measuring visual acuity
- Assist with contact lens fittings and adjustments
- Conduct diagnostic tests, such as tonometry and visual field testing
- Prepare patients for examination by the optometrist
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Handle front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
- Ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
