We are looking for a competent Maintenance Mechanic to complete our maintenance staff for our facilities. Applicant must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, lawn maintenance, etc. The goal is to ensure that facilities are in a good and safe condition at all times.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Rotational on-call
- Vacancy make ready
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on buildings, apartments, grounds and equipment.
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, plumbing, heating etc.)
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
- An eye for detail
- Computer savvy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
- Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred
- Possess valid state Class I motor vehicle operator's license with no major violations
