Position Overview:

As an Underground Utility Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of underground utilities including storm drain systems, sanitary sewer lines, and water transmission lines. You’ll work with a skilled crew on excavation sites and be an integral part of delivering safe, accurate, and efficient utility installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install water, sewer, and storm drain systems in accordance with engineering plans and specifications.

• Read and interpret site and utility plans to determine pipe placement and alignments.

• Operate trenching and excavation equipment safely and effectively.

• Set and align pipes to proper grade and slope using lasers or levels.

• Backfill trenches and inspect installed pipe systems for leaks, misalignments, or structural integrity issues.

• Maintain worksite safety and organization throughout the installation process.

• Experience with irrigation systems is a plus.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in underground utility or pipe installation

• Ability to read and understand construction and utility plans.

• Must be able to travel to job sites as needed.

• Reliable transportation is required.

• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
