Position Overview:
As an Underground Utility Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of underground utilities including storm drain systems, sanitary sewer lines, and water transmission lines. You’ll work with a skilled crew on excavation sites and be an integral part of delivering safe, accurate, and efficient utility installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install water, sewer, and storm drain systems in accordance with engineering plans and specifications.
Read and interpret site and utility plans to determine pipe placement and alignments.
Operate trenching and excavation equipment safely and effectively.
Set and align pipes to proper grade and slope using lasers or levels.
Backfill trenches and inspect installed pipe systems for leaks, misalignments, or structural integrity issues.
Maintain worksite safety and organization throughout the installation process.
Experience with irrigation systems is a plus.
Requirements:
Proven experience in underground utility or pipe installation
Ability to read and understand construction and utility plans.
Must be able to travel to job sites as needed.
Reliable transportation is required.
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
