Bachelor’s degree required. Prior experience working with young children in a child care setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Education component/specialization preferred. Pursuit of a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education a plus. Experience working in a National Association for the Education of the Young Children ( NAEYC ) accredited childcare center a plus. Demonstrates knowledge of the NAEYC accreditation standards, NAEYC accreditation process, and Teaching Strategies Creative curriculum preferred.
