An earned doctorate (Ed.D., Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent) in Special Education or closely related field from an accredited institution. ABD will be considered. Maintaining or eligibility for NYS Certification in Teaching Students with Disabilities. Evidence of expertise in special education using evidence-based practices and inclusive pedagogical approaches. Evidence of effective design and delivery of high-quality courses in special education. Demonstrated record of academic scholarship, research, and other scholarly activities in relevant fields. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
