Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce aluminum die castings according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure product accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and product quality.
- Monitor machine operations for quality control and make adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery and tooling techniques.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical specifications.
- Experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
- Familiarity with electrical discharge machining is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of power tools and hand tools is beneficial.
