What does an Express Technician at Hoffman Auto Group do?
Role Purpose
Repair vehicles in an efficient and ethical manner under the supervision of a Flat-Rate Technician and/or Shop Foreman.
Leadership
This position does not lead others.
Core Accountabilities
- Read and understand customer complaints; diagnose and advise findings; complete all authorized repairs in accordance with manufacturer and company policy; return warranty parts to parts dept and road test vehicles as needed to verify completion of repairs.
- Properly document all repairs using both internet-based tools and physical Repair Order documentation as instructed per department requirements
- Learn how to utilize computer to remain up to date on manufacturer recalls and/or technical data. 4. Complete training required set by the manager.
- Maintain a clean and neat work area. Perform daily inspections of your work area.
- Stay compliant with all safety and OSHA regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies and Qualifications
- Valid drivers license
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service orientated environment preferred
- Can adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset
- Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.
Salary : $20 - $21
