Calibration Sales & Service Representative

Reports To: Cryogenic Sales & Service Managers

Position Summary – The Cryogenic Sales & Service Representative is responsible for soliciting and servicing sales of the company's cryogenic custody transfer (legal-for-trade) products throughout the world. This includes field servicing and calibration of these products as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Sales & Marketing

• Produce quotation for cryogenic metering systems, parts and field service in response to customer inquiries.
• Make sales calls on cryogenic metering system customers and potential customer.
• Backup the inside sales group for non-cryogenic sales inquiries as needed.
• Report quality related issues on cryogenic products to QA and Engineering managers.
• Track and record competitive information including competitor pricing and product offerings.
• Make recommendations for new products and product features.

2. Field Service

• Travel to customer locations to perform field calibration and/or repairs to cryogenic metering systems and metering proving systems owned by customers as required.
• Travel to customer locations to provide start-up assistance and training on cryogenic metering systems and meter proving systems as required.
• Travel to customer locations to supervise the installation and monitor the performance of new products undergoing field trials as required.
• Travel to customer locations and other locations to support product certification and testing programs as required.
• Must have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time domestically or internationally is a requirement for the position during both the training and post-training periods.

Authority Level

• Prepare quotations under adequate supervision by senior cryogenic sales and service staff.
• Conduct all calibration related work in accordance with Hoffer standards for quality.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electronics aptitude strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• High energy level, high standards of excellence, high integrity and work ethic.
• Must be in sound physical condition and able to lift 50 pounds unaided.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a US passport.
