Your Mission

Deublin Company has an opening for a Tool Presetter on 2nd shift. The Tool Presetter supports the production floor by gathering, presetting, handing out, and putting away tools as needed. The Tool Presetter reports to Prototype & MTO Department Manager. This is a non-exempt position with a pay range from $23.59 to $31.92 per hour and an additional 8.5% shift differential. Pay will be based on qualifications and experience.

How you will make a difference

• Pull and preset tools in advance for the production floor.
• Hand out tools to operators on the production floor as needed.
• Clean, visually inspect, and put away tooling and fixtures after use.
• Let the supervisor know what tools need to be restocked, remade, or reordered.
• Utilize floor terminals for clocking in/out, reviewing work instructions, and accessing drawings.

What you should be good at

• Knowledge of machine tools and machining operations and how to use measuring equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting standardized work instructions, safety guidelines, and operating and maintenance manuals.
• Strong practical judgment with the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Competent in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Skilled in manual dexterity, with the ability to efficiently produce various products in a work cell environment.
• Effective team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced setting.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
