We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Materials Handler/Stock Clerk to join our Warehouse team. This role is essential to the efficiency of our manufacturing process, responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory control and uphold our Core Values: Teamwork, Quality, Innovative, Creative, Reliable, Integrity, and Pride.
Job Type: Full-time; Onsite
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime as required)
Starting Pay: $17.00/hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receiving & Inspection
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quantity and quality
- Accurately record received goods and relay information to Supervisor and /or Accounting
- Store materials in appropriate, organized locations
- Inventory Distribution
- Deliver raw materials to Manufacturing as needed
- Log quantities distributed and track usage
- Notify supervisor of irregularities or unusual usage patterns
- General Warehouse Operations
- Maintain clean, safe, and healthy working conditions
- Keep warehouse organized and equipment in good working order
- Perform additional duties as assigned
General Requirements:
- Prior experience in receiving and warehousing preferred
- Forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance
- Must be able to maneuver heavy pallets safely
- Work may involve prolonged standing and warehouse conditions
- Comfort operating manual pallet jacks and forklifts
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude
- Good eyesight and ability to distinguish colors and patterns
- Clear communication skills (spoken and written)
- Proficient in basic math operations
