Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator (Heights) to join our team in Kernersville, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise and materials in a warehouse or production environment, with a focus on working at elevated heights safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials at various heights.
• Ensure safe handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols when working at heights.
• Inspect forklifts and equipment before use to ensure proper working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and materials moved.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to optimize workflow and storage.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and working at heights.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator, specifically with operations involving elevated heights.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to forklift operation and working at heights.
• Ability to operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
• Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
