What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master's Level Outpatient Mental Health Clinician position at HOCKANUM VALLEY COMMUNITY COUNCIL?
Hockanum Valley Community Council is a non-profit social services agency looking to expand services into the Danielson, CT area. Our Outpatient Mental Health clinics in Vernon, Norwich, and Willimantic provide individual, group, and psychiatric treatment for a wide array of substance abuse and mental health disorders. This position is for a State of Connecticut Judicial Department contracted program to provide jail-diversionary treatment and case management services to adult offenders. The position is located out of Danielson, Connecticut with some travel necessary to Danielson probation offices and court, as well as to HVCC's main office in Vernon, Connecticut. This full-time position operates Monday- Friday with no on-call or crisis responsibilities after hours and no direct supervision of staff. Clinical supervision towards licensure is available for licensed tracked individuals. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
