Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Speech-Language Pathologist at our Chicago, IL location. The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Responsibilities will include providing therapy for patients with dysphagia, communication challenges, and various speech or language impairments. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and patient education on therapeutic techniques will also be key components of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy, Speech, and treatment techniques related to communication challenges.
- Experience with Dysphagia and addressing swallowing disorders.
- Expertise in identifying and managing Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- State licensure or certification as required for practicing speech-language pathology.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Experience in myofunctional therapy or breathing techniques is a plus.
