Are you passionate about dogs and dedicated to their well-being? Hobnob Pet is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, happiness, and health of our furry clients.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor a play yard of up to 15 dogs of various breeds and sizes.
- Ensure a safe and engaging environment for all dogs, promoting positive behavior and play.
- Interact and play with dogs, offering companionship and enrichment activities.
- Observe dogs for any signs of illness, injury, or distress and report to management as necessary.
- Follow company policies and procedures for dog handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Cleaning and disinfection of indoor play yards, outdoor play yards, and boarding kennels.
Requirements:
- Genuine love and passion for dogs with a strong understanding of canine behavior.
- Ability to manage multiple dogs at once, ensuring their well-being and safety.
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to handle dogs of all sizes and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Availability from 6:30am to 7:30pm. Must include weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) and all holidays.
