What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Enhancement Worker position at Hobby Horse House?
Hobby Horse House is seeking a part-time CCS Family Enhancement Worker to provide short-term services to families in Adams, Pike and Hancock counties who have been the subject of a call or report to the State Central Register hotline and have been assessed as low risk for ongoing DCFS inolvement.
Applicants should possess a high school diploma. Responsibilities include initiating phone contact with clients, making in-person contact with families, facilitating consultation/supervisory calls with Community Connection Supervisor, provide referrals/linkage to community services, and comply with all the rules and regulations of IDCFS concerning confidentiality.
Candidates should be willing to work flexible hours; you design your own schedule. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, automobile insurance, and ability to pass a criminal history check. This is a professional agency with a focus on children and families; this includes support and focus for your own family and well-being.
Candidates must be motivated, self-starting, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong oranizational ability. Pay is based on education and experience.
