What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and support manufacturing team members to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production
- Champion safety, quality, productivity, and 5S initiatives while remaining hands-on with equipment operation and material handling
- Collaborate with Group Leaders and Production Coordinators to set up shifts and support production schedules across all shifts
- Operate assigned equipment and support shipping, receiving, and oven operations as needed
- Troubleshoot drawing and packaging equipment to minimize downtime
- Train and support team members on route card usage and submit maintenance requisitions when necessary
- Ensure work instructions and plant procedures are followed consistently, while identifying opportunities for improvement
- Monitor productivity and downtime using route cards and other tracking tools
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, including ISO 9001:2015 and applicable standards
- Provide input for operator performance reviews and support employee development
- Coordinate and support training activities for new hires and internal transfers
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience with Packaging and Draw Bench operations, including troubleshooting
- Proven leadership skills with sound decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using standard computer software and email
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and customer-focused mindset
- Interest in long-term career development and growth
- Desire to continue education
