RPI Rentals is recruiting qualified applicants for our Internship Program who are studying supply chain management, civil engineering, construction engineering or building/construction sciences for the Summer 2026 term. This position typically gains exposure to estimating, project management, and the field.

Environment: Work is performed mainly in an indoor and outdoor setting with exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions, and travel from site to site.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.

Duties include:
- Gaining an understanding of the construction process and the equipment and services needed in the construction process
- Coordinate equipment rentals and labor services with customers and vendors
- Participate in tower crane and hoist coordination and engineering
- Prepare quotes / estimates to submit to customers
- Assist in managing vendor billing and customer invoicing
- Candidates should possess computer skills including working with spreadsheets, good communication skills, and a willingness to handle responsibility
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or Supply Chain Management
- Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must maintain a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week during the semester
- Completed college freshman year
- Desire to pursue a career in the construction industry upon graduation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver's License
