Job Title: Project Controls Scheduler
Job Summary: The Project Scheduler will be responsible for creating and overseeing critical path plans and schedules, as well as monitoring project progress for medium-sized and complex projects. The Scheduler will be responsible for development and maintenance of project schedules including baselines, schedule updates and schedule reporting for large capital infrastructure projects. This role requires excellent leadership skills, communication, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders, develop and grow relationships. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in planning, and scheduling, and be able to independently evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques in these areas.
- Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):Development baseline schedules
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and communicate project performance, status risks and strategies to keep the project within scheduling metrics
- Utilize a data driven approach to scheduling. Reviews short-cycle schedule impacts and prepares CPM (Critical Path Method) schedule analysis.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management or a related field preferred
- Ability to perform research and analysis, including the ability to obtain and evaluate relevant data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective follow-ups and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI, P6)
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, management ability.
- Three or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience OR six years of experience without a Bachelor’s degree
