Responsibilities
- Process assigned work queues accurately and within established timelines
- Review, organize, and track mortgage collateral and loan documentation
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper document handling throughout the process
- Follow established procedures and identify exceptions or discrepancies for resolution
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners as needed
- Maintain detailed system notes and documentation
- Assist with document redaction and other compliance-related tasks when required
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce recurring issues
- Support additional operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- 1 year of experience in mortgage operations, loan processing, document processing, banking, financial services, or a high-volume administrative environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable learning new systems and technology
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
Preferred
- Experience with mortgage servicing, collateral management, loan documentation, title, or default servicing
- Experience working in a regulated financial or legal environment
