  • Handle foreclosure-related matters from referral through resolution.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case developments, strategy, and legal recommendations.
  • Participate in additional projects and assignments as needed.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Maryland Bar membership in good standing.
  • Maryland licensure required; admission in the District of Columbia is a plus.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and legal case management systems.
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience representing banks, mortgage servicers, lenders, investors, or other financial institutions.
  • Experience in foreclosure, default servicing, creditor's rights, real estate law, or civil litigation.
  • Experience handling title disputes, real estate litigation, or property-related matters.
  • Experience drafting and arguing motions, attending hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
  • Bankruptcy experience, including motion practice and creditor representation.
  • Experience conducting depositions and participating in state or federal trials.
  • Recently licensed attorneys with relevant internship, clerkship, or practice experience are encouraged to apply.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a motivated and detail-oriented attorney who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is eager to build a practice in foreclosure, real estate, and creditor-rights matters. They possess strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage a significant caseload while maintaining a high standard of client service.

Successful candidates will be proactive problem-solvers who can work independently, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and adapt to changing priorities. Attorneys with experience in foreclosure litigation, real estate law, title matters, bankruptcy, or creditor representation will be particularly well-suited for this opportunity. This position offers significant hands-on experience, direct client interaction, and opportunities for professional growth across multiple practice areas.
