Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Reports to Director of Marketing
Full-Time 40 hours a week (8/9-5pm) | In Office
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
Job Overview:
HMY Yacht Sales is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team.
This position supports the execution of HMY’s digital marketing strategy through content creation, social media management, website and inventory maintenance, event marketing, and brand promotion. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital marketing, enjoys creating engaging content, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in North Palm Beach, Florida, with travel required throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Manage and execute social media content across multiple HMY brands and platforms.
- Manage all content for the HMY Sportfish Insider social channels (Instagram & Facebook)
- Create and publish weekly sportfish social posts to support new brands
- Upload and manage all YouTube videos and YouTube Shorts
- Assist with social media initiatives and special campaigns as assigned
- Monitor content performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement
Content Creation
- Produce photography and videography for yachts, events, and brand campaigns
- Edit short-form videos for social media and YouTube
- Create marketing videos for HMY brokers as requested
- Produce content highlighting new and in-stock Viking inventory
- Assist with manufacturer-specific marketing campaigns
- Support additional creative projects as assigned
Website & Inventory Management
Maintain accurate and engaging online yacht inventory across HMY’s digital platforms.
- Create and maintain new yacht models within HMY’s CMS
- Manage new brand inventory updates across MLS platforms
- Ensure listings include accurate specifications, photography, videos, and SEO-friendly content
Content Marketing
Develop written content that strengthens HMY’s digital presence.
- Write and publish sportfishing-focused blog articles
- Create content supporting product launches, events, owner stories, and company initiatives
- Assist with SEO and AI-optimized website content
Event Marketing
Support HMY’s presence at major tournaments, customer events, and boat shows. Responsibilities may include assisting with marketing efforts for events including:
- Winter Sailfish Tournament Season, Viking Key West Challenge, White Marlin Open, Viking VIP, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Palm Beach International Boat Show, Miami International Boat Show and additional events assigned.
Responsibilities may include:
- Photography and videography
- Live social media coverage
- Content creation before, during, and after events
- Event logistics support
- Customer interviews and testimonials
Other Marketing Tasks
Provide general support for the Marketing Department through a variety of ongoing initiatives.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns
- Support website updates and digital projects
- Produce monthly sales and market recap content
- Assist with owner testimonial campaigns
- Support training materials and internal communications
- Collaborate on special projects as assigned by the Marketing Director
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or a related field preferred
- 2 years of marketing, digital marketing, or content creation experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Willingness to travel for events and boat shows
