Job Title: Production Team Leader
Team Leader / Production Support Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily operation of production line(s)
• Assist with ensuring production goals are met daily
• Ensure safety and productivity of team members during designated shift hours
• Train new team members and coach existing team members
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol
• Compliance with work standards as well as Team Leader daily standard work
Technical & Quality Responsibilities:
• Enforce, maintain, and foster Quality Policies and Procedures
• Ability to perform hard gage checks and adjust machines (fixtures, programs) accordingly
• Ability to perform tool changes on all assigned lines including broach changes
• General understanding of tool setting procedures
• Proper working knowledge of MEPS system (downtime, Ekanban, inventory management, etc.)
• Must know all carrier parts and part numbers
• Compliance with work standards as well as Team Leader daily standard work
• Ability to troubleshoot machine and automation alarms
• Maintain and drive 5S expectations
• Foster continuous improvement within your team
• Must be familiar with all tool changes on all assigned lines
• Maintain and drive process checks and verification
• Ability to perform changeover from one carrier model to another
• Complete end-of-shift scrap reports daily for all Housing lines
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge manufacturing operations
- Ability to lead others
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow & interpret company policies and procedures
- 6 months leadership experience (preferred)
- Competency in basic computer and math skills
- Problem solving abilities
Requirements:
- Must be current department and position for at least 6 months
- No Active Corrective Actions in the last 12 months
