What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Dock Operator - PC position at HL Mando America Corp?
Job Purpose: Stage, load and unload raw materials in designated areas and flow racks.
Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
- Load and unload raw materials from truck in a timely manner.
- Verify what you have off- loaded and submit proper paperwork to receiving clerks promptly.
- Stage and put up conforming raw materials that QC has inspected in designated areas and flow racks.
- Complete daily inspection sheets.
- Operate within standard operating procedures and our safety procedure and policies.
- Communicate with operators from other shifts.
- Maintain good housekeeping (5S).
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Cross train to learn other positions in the receiving area and assist in those positions as needed.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is a requirement.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
