This role oversees the month-end close process, ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, and supervises the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cost accounting functions. Duties & Responsibilities
:• Lead and execute the month-end financial closing process, ensuring completeness and accurac
y• Prepare and review timely account reconciliation
s• Post accruals to ensure costs are matched to the appropriate accounting perio
d• Oversee cost accounting, margin reporting, overhead allocation, labor, and manufacturing cost absorptio
n• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports to plant and regional managemen
t• Provide financial analysis and operational insight to plant manager
s• Supervise and develop two direct reports responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cost accountin
g• Review and approve A/R and A/P transactions to ensure accuracy and proper authorizatio
n• Maintain and enforce internal financial controls at the plant leve
l• Support weekly cash reporting and cash management activitie

Minimum Requiremen
ts:• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environm
ent• Prior supervisory experience required; experience managing A/R, A/P, and cost accounting functions strongly prefer
red• BS in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA a p
lus• Cost accounting experience in a discrete manufacturing environment requi
red• Demonstrated experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial report
ing• Proficiency with ERP systems required; experience with Visual Infor a p
