HJ is open 24 hours a day, and seven days a week.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Diesel Mechanic role in Clearfield, PA. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs, diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, and conducting preventive maintenance. Additional responsibilities include maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and documenting all maintenance and repairs performed.
The mechanic will need to have their own tools and reliable transportation. Also, mechanics will be asked to run a service truck, all of which are 2015 and newer when needed, and help out with other tasks within the company when needed. Employee will be asked to work at least one weekend a month on call, but you can choose your weekend.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Diesel Mechanics and working with heavy equipment
- Experience in vehicle maintenance and equipment maintenance
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues independently
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; technical certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in the towing and recovery industry is an advantage
Salary : $40,000 - $100,000
