Talent Acquisition Administrative Coordinator
Location: Akron, OH (Onsite)
Duration: 3-Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Position Overview
Hive Co has a contract opportunity with our client for a Talent Acquisition Administrative Coordinator to support a fast-paced recruiting team. This role is responsible for coordinating recruiting operations, managing pre-employment processes, supporting recruiters and hiring managers, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and coordination support to recruiters and Talent Acquisition leadership, including requisition creation and recruiting operations support.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background screenings, drug testing, and employment assessments, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Schedule phone, virtual, and onsite interviews across multiple time zones.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the pre-employment and onboarding process.
- Assist recruiters with preparing, reviewing, and distributing offer letters.
- Manage recruiting-related mailboxes and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Maintain recruiting content and resources within SharePoint.
- Track and update candidate and pre-employment data to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Support hiring managers with pre-boarding activities, onboarding coordination, and equipment request processes.
- Process invoices, coordinate travel arrangements, and provide administrative support to recruiting leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and operational efficiency.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 7 years of administrative, coordination, or related professional experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or recruiting operations.
- Experience with SharePoint content management and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting processes.
- Oracle HCM / Oracle Recruiting Cloud experience preferred.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
