What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Test Engineer position at HiTHIUM Energy Storage?
We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to join our team in a full-time role located in Forney, TX. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the test and validation of energy storage solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in installation and commissioning of all test equipment.
- Assist system integration activities between the lab equipment and test articles.
- Prepare test plans and run tests for individual equipment as well as for complete systems.
- Assist in data analysis and data processing for all test beds.
- Review data with internal team members.
- Support test cell instrumentation activity.
- Support efficient issue/risk identification, communication, tracking, and resolution.
- Have a hands-on approach to problem solving for component, sub-system, and system level.
- Drive issue resolution through failure mode resolution processes.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS) and grid integration.
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in the energy storage or power systems industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Billigual in Chinese and English, capable of serving as a bridge for information gathering and communication between China and Global teams.
