Supervisory Responsibilities (if Applicable)
- Not applicable. This is an individual contributor role with no direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- 2-5 years of directly related quality auditing experience in a manufacturing, construction, or engineering environment.
- Experience in manufacturing, quality systems, or internal auditing environments
- Working knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and/or IATF16949 standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, including travel to manufacturing facilities in Mexico
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit principles
- General knowledge of NADCAP and Hitchiner’s customer-specific quality requirements
- Ability to evaluate processes, identify risks, and assess compliance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally
- Ability to influence and collaborate across functional teams without direct authority
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Combination of office and manufacturing environments
- Prolonged periods of computer use, standing, and walking during audit activities
- May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE) while in manufacturing areas
- Frequent interaction with employees across multiple business units and locations
- Domestic and international travel required, including travel to manufacturing facilities in Mexico, approximately 10% of the time
