1.Responsible for all Accounts Receivable activity including daily invoicing of customers and daily posting of cash receipts into AR subledger
2. Process miscellaneous AR adjustments and credit memos with proper back-up and sign offs
3. Responsible for all AR ongoing collection efforts (calls, emails, etc)
4.Prepare AR aging weekly and month-end AR reserve calculation
5.Prepare month end journal entries for all AR related transactions and responsible for reconciling those general ledger accounts.
6.Responsible for all Accounts Receivable customer maintenance in company’s ERP including new customer documentation and updates to Customer Master files
7. Prepare year-end audit schedules relating to AR including Sales by State.
8. Assist with other corporate accounting processes such as month end journal entries
Additional Responsibilities:
1.Special projects and other assigned duties as requested.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
2. One-five years of experience in AR or general accounting. Experience in the manufacturing industry a plus.
3. Experience with general ledger ERPs such as Oracle, SAP, or similar.
4. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent Excel skills required. Ability to review and manipulate large data sets.
5. Accomplishments and responsibilities within a team environment.
6. Must be detail orientated.
7. Must possess strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
