Role Description
Hitch is hiring 2-5 Social Media Interns based in Austin, TX, with flexibility to work remotely part-time. This internship will support the creation, execution, and management of social media campaigns and content strategies across a range of client accounts.
Interns can expect to work approximately 15-25 hours per week, depending on availability, experience, and school requirements.
This role may be offered as an unpaid internship for students receiving college credit, or as a paid internship depending on the candidate’s experience, skill level, and fit. We strongly prefer candidates who are able to receive class credit for the internship.
Daily responsibilities may include social media content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring performance, engaging with audience interactions, reporting metrics, helping organize content calendars, and collaborating with our strategy, creative, and production teams.
Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge in social media marketing and digital marketing.
- Skills in social media content creation, management, reporting, and engagement, with a focus on creativity and quality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Understanding of marketing principles and how they apply to social and digital platforms.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and performance tracking is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
Passion for creative collaboration and a strong interest in brand marketing, advertising, and social-first content.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, PR, or a related field.
