How You’ll Make An Impact
- Perform transformer testing to multiple industry standards in a production environment.
- Follow safety and quality procedures while maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings to wind, assemble, wire, and fabricate components.
- Support other production areas as needed, following supervisor instructions.
- Manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet established deadlines.
- Document test plans, results, and protocols with accuracy and clarity.
- Host and support customers, auditors, and certification personnel during witnessed testing.
- Demonstrate Hitachi Energy’s values of safety, integrity, and teamwork.
- AS degree or technical certificate (minimum 2-year electrical education).
- Prior work authorization to work in the United States.
- Experience with instrumentation and measurement systems.
- Ability to gather, organize, and process technical information from multiple sources.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines; flexible with shifts, overtime, and weekends.
